Who is this Beth Brennan?

Just a girl, standing in front of too many stringed instruments for it to be strictly healthy.

Anguaji is the current pen-name for musician Beth Brennan - omg that's me! :)

I've been playing guitar since I was a nipper and I've been recording and producing music since the early 2000's thanks to a student loan that paid for a fancy external soundcard and a cd burner. I suppose I'm a multi-instrumentalist, and I tend towards stringed instruments (guitar, bass, mandolin, ukulele, bouzouki, and lately banjo), but my produced music has whatever sounds I can conjure from a digital orchestra these days.

I got involved with writing theatre score in 2015 and was beguiled by the environment and material I'd work with - it's my favourite work to take on, but I love any musical challenge.

Recent Shenanigans

I've been through a tough few years lately, but I've never stopped making music in that time - in fact there's been days where all I could do was play guitar to feel like myself.

I started recording again in August 2025, and I'm currently working on an E.P. of music written to express this strange period of my life.

It's going to be called This Beautiful Life Without You and I'm hoping it'll be released this year.
